It's not aliens, it's "The Word of God" seeking a vessel to pass...well, the word. Jesse is a shitty Preacher with not more faith and God saw that as an opportunity, something like that. The one that controls the Word can "control" behaviors of others and force them to do things.
There's also weird stuff going on, Cassidy, a vampire, seem pretty Chaotic Neutral in his behavior. Colorful character he is.
There's also those weird guys that are searching for the one with the Word. I can't recall the comic but IIRC they were in it.
There will be a lot of weird characters introduced along the journey. It's a pretty f'ed up and awesome world.

I can not decide if I love or hate this show. I keep coming back, so it must be the former... or at least someplace between the two. Its definitely got it's moments.
P.S. AMC allowing non-Americans to take all the jerbs. Ruth Negga is a New Zealander, Lucy Griffiths and Dominic Cooper are English, and Graham McTavish is a Scot. They all have damn good fake accents.
For the men, at least, you can thank US culture for that.P.S. AMC allowing non-Americans to take all the jerbs. Ruth Negga is a New Zealander, Lucy Griffiths and Dominic Cooper are English, and Graham McTavish is a Scot. They all have damn good fake accents.
So who was the guy at the end and wasn't he in hell last episode? Isn't that why when the angel's buddy was killed in hell he couldn't come back?
Oh, and the scene at the bus stop - wasn't that site in breaking bad?
someone said "the source material gets to be pretty mental", i wonder what they meant by that.
