Hey guys,

I am buying this system as a present for someone so it has to be prebuilt. I am not sure if Dell is the best option for something like this. The only components that really matter are that is has about an i5-750, 6gb of ram and everything else is pretty much irrelevant. The monitor I would prefer for it to be 24 inches but 23 is fine too. The computer and monitor don't have to come from the same company. Anyone know of any deals or any other places to buy a prebuilt system?

Thanks in advance for your help.

1156 is a dual channel socket, 1136 is triple. so best on 1156 would be 4gb or 8gb.

Wow thank you so much for taking your time to do that. I think i'll buy pretty much exactly that. I have seen deals on 24 inch monitors for like 100 dollars less than that. Do you think it's worth looking for something else or just order everything in one package?

$30 less, also has alot of good reviews. but asus makes great monitors. if you can save money by ordering the monitor somewhere else, theres no reason not too.

edit: i looked online cheapest i see a asus monitor is $215, lg is 200 so as long as you can order the lg before sales over id get that.

edit 2: id still think about getting the asus refurb and a matching brand asus monitor with a extended year warranty for extra $60, if your on a budget - Grand Total:* $814.97
