Brown- Waitlist
UPenn - Waitlist
Wow, that is a surprise. back in 93/94 when I was applying, Brown was THE place to go - the ivy with a lib arts atmosphere. Noone got in. We had a Brown-reject party at college.

Brackis,
I think a great thing to help posterity would be to find out form the institutions that accept you, what they based their acceptance on. It would provide real insight into admisisons practices.

If tis any consolation, you don't have to go to a "uppercrust" school. I applied to LeMoyne, SU, and Cornell. I got accepted at all three. I had an A- GPA (90.55%), and an SAT score of 1220 (Damn Oct/Nov SAT's got Fvcked, thats when i took em). I could get into any school I wanted to. Paying for it is a different story. You sound much like Nick Carraway from The Great Gatsby....

Did you apply to one of the NY state schools @ cornell and have benefit of residence?
Also, I think James Gatz would be a better comparison for your arguement, even though I disagree with it.

Thats coo bro. Yes I did have the benefit of residence, I applied to the College Agriculture and Life Science, but as I already said, having the benefit of residence do less for admitance, and more for Aid.
GTG tho, college visits today.

yay i win something, sweet!
Too bad about all the rejections but getting into a few of them and also being put on a wait list is a really good thing! I say you should choose Northwestern overall, but I'm biased cuz I'm from Illinois
