You make way too many generic assumptions about people. So, you're saying because I don't like fighting games that much, I don't know anything about them? Really? I mean, I didn't say I didn't play them. You know NOTHING about me or what I know. Trust me you aren't the el33t lone supreme being you are trying to portray yourself as. And newsflash, I had just as many psx games ;p
What I do know is KI was the low guy on the totem pole as far as fighters went. While I can agree to disagree on which is better, because that's opinion, don't sit there and act like you have a clue about what I know and don't know.
i never said ki was the greatest fighting game ever. infact if you read my posts about it, i've said ki1 didn't age well and the problems it has are apparent after going back to it for more than 10 minutes, which i did a couple days ago. it was fun at it's time and did something different, but as far as being a true competitive fighter with a lot of depth, it isn't that. it doesn't have much to it.
now all of that doesn't mean that it can't be a fun game, and i still enjoy playing it for what it is. but i'm not sitting here calling it a great fighter, because it isn't compared to many other fighters.
but i do know that someone who thinks thrill kill is truly a "good" fighter, or someone who makes claims about the new ki being good/bad without even getting hands on with it, that their opinion is moot to me.
and yes, i'm saying if you don't like fighters and don't play them regularly and haven't played many of them, then your opinion doesn't really matter much in regards to them. i've played many rpgs in my days, but stopped at ff7 on psx and haven't touched one since then because i don't like them anymore. i know my opinion on new rpgs means jack shit.
its kinda like how all the bandwagon miami heat fans who can't name more than 5 players in the nba, all of whom are on the heat, think that they know someting about basketball.
