AFC East will probably be the hardest division in football next year. But then again, last season everyone was talking about how the NFC West was loaded and look how that turned out.

SO .... go out a (shaky) limb and pick GANG-GREEN !!! You KNOW you want too! BET THE RANCH !!!

(I think the Bills will win it again and that Miami has a better shot than the Jets)

After all gimpy geriatric QB's have LONG history of success in the NFL .... or not.

AFC East IMO:

(1) Bills - Head and shoulders the best team in the division. (on paper!)

(2) Dolphins - Solid, young team overall with a shaky QB situation.

(3/4) Pats/Jets - Rogers stays healthy I like NY for 3rd mainly on their "D". Otherwise NE.

You guys picking Seattle, you seriously think Geno is going to repeat and not fall back to the norm? History says next year he's going to have trend back to what he's historically done his entire career.

I'm a Geno hater from WAY back lol .... it's them or the Niners I could go either way for the division.

I just love the dumpster fire that are the cards, they are going to have to "rebuild" while having one of the highest (over)paid QB on their roster that isn't a leader. They are going to be bad for a looooong time.

I think the Lions have a legit chance at the NFC North for the first time in a very long time

AFC E - Dolphins
AFC N - Bengals
AFC S - Jags
AFC W - Chiefs

NFC E - Eagles
NFC N - Lions
NFC S - Saints
NFC W - Seachickens

Aaron Rogers will, as usual, get his team into the playoffs only to wilt in the first round…again.

Does it help that half the population in Philly offered to drive Gannon to the airport?

And the other half are mad that Gannon got on the team plane heading back from the Superbowl?

A little bit, but I don't know much about him. I think he won't last long with the QB, cap/team situation anyways.

I've got all the predictions that anybody could ever want ... balls with be thrown, dropped and probably kicked in frustration. Refs will make bad calls and tempors will flair now and again. Every team will accuse at least one other team of cheating to mask their own poor performance and the likely suspects will once again never see the light of SB Day.

That about covers the Jets season. What about predictions for the rest of the league?

I don't know, the winner of the AFC West did win the Super Bowl, so seems pretty loaded.

Washington should call themselves the wild hogs or wild boars. Plays to their history plus has extra for Texas and their issue with those.

Washington is finally rid of Snyder, apparently a name change might be in the cards as well.....In regards to QARon and the Jet's , he's not as mobile as he used to, they have a 37 year old Duane Brown and an oft Injured (and quite large) Mekhi Becton as their Tackles....their guards are decent though so it might work? Good run game, GW was an elite receiver in his first year (and he had Zach Wilson throwing to him)

Gets to sell the team for 6 billion but gets fined 60 million. That is a real gentle slap on the wrist.

Or...how to turn three 1st round draft picks into a 4th.

I mean, if that's all it takes to be an NFL GM, I think you and I can do the job too. Just close your eyes, throw a dart a the board, and pick whichever name shows up. If you miss the board (I suck at darts), then just pick the first name alphabetically.

Ignore for a second how badly the Trey Lance experience turned out. The initial trade itself isn't quite like Mike Ditka trading an entire draft just for Ricky Williams but it's pretty fucken bad.

By the draft chart derived from historical data by Chase Stuart, they sent the equivalent of the first and 19th overall picks in a typical draft to acquire Lance.
Obviously it costs extra in draft capital to move up, but how does going from 12th to 3rd overall ever equal giving up the first overall pick, and then another high pick?! ESPN's Bill Barnwell broke it all down, and he basically said we can't judge Lance too harshly because he didn't get much of a shot to prove he's not a bust:

I was being a bit facetious, but the whole situation is a dumpster fire for the 49'ers. I'm still not sold on Brock Purdy, so you'd figure the 49'ers would give Trey Lance another year to compete and prove himself. The only explanation is Trey Lance was bad at training camp. So bad that 49'ers wanted to cut bait.

Trey Lance moving to the Cowboys does him no favors. Dakota Prescott is solidly entrenched in the starter spot, even if Prescott wasn't great last year. Barring a catastrophe with Prescott, Trey Lance is not going to get a chance to start. He's there to be a backup. That's it.

as the Giants get better, I just keep hoping Dak is the starter.

There are more than 200 division 1 NCAA football teams. Trey Lance came from a Division 2 program in North Dakota State. That means he was playing for a school that would be the equal to a JUCO school aka. community college program. Some will argue that division 2 is a step up from community college football. I would agree but point out that Lance had to be over looked by more than 200 NCAA-1 football programs across America. There are not many community college football programs. NCAA division II equal very small colleges.

Fast forward to the NFL draft where Lance was hyped up the draft board to pick #3. The only other QB to make moves like that on the draft board in recent history was Kyler Murray of Oklahoma. He was a 1st round MLB pick by the Oakland A's. So if football didn't work out, he was going to play baseball. He is a great athlete but a terrible NFL QB. He went from bottom of the 1st round or 2nd round pick to #1 overall. The hype train was rolling for Kyler Murray pre-draft.

Whereas Lance came out of nowhere which is common in sports in general. You gotta see this kid type of BS. So I will not comment further on Trey Lance. The above speaks for itself. How he was even on the draft board is a mystery.

On a side note. The biggest bust/disappointment of the 2018 NFL draft was Josh Allen according to draft day analysts. They called Allen a wasted pick on TV. I will never forget that one.

@Hans Gruber

Agreed on Kyler Murray. I wouldn't touch Murray with a football length pole. Amazing athlete. It's the Grand Canyon between the ears. All empty space in there.

And Josh Allen ranked as a blooper pick just goes to show how much the draft pundits actually know. Also NFL GM's. The number of failed 1st round QB's is amazingly bad. But I do think part of the failure rate is the fact that QB's are almost always drafted by bad teams. These teams are bad for a reason.

For example, I never thought Tim Couch was that bad of a prospect, but 5 or 6 years with the Browns just absolutely beat down that man.
