I saw these here: http://www.premiersystem.com/12pc7nssdram.html

Note that anandtech's Price Guide for 1/5/01 shows 128 MB PC133 CAS2 from this same vendor for $65.

I'm editing this original posting here to let you all know about a potential problem with this deal. I bought this memory stick, and it arrived in a good time. Their website stated that this memory was CAS2.

Last week, I downloaded and ran Sisoft Sandra. It reported that the memory I bought from Premier Systems was CAS3. I emailed Premier Systems, and they replied with a request for more information as to the markings on the memory stick.
In response, I sent Premier Systems the following:

"The markings on the memory stick I got from you are: On the stick on labels:
"SHM16B 00C3A, QC PASS 3-51, PC133 128MB."
On each of the memory chips: "KIC 00487 TBS6408B4E-7".
The Sisoft Sandra report for this memory stick is as follows: "MOSEL
TM4SN64EPH-10 128MB 16x(8Mx8) SDRAM PC133U-333-542 (CL3 upto 133MHz)".
It is clear to me that the "333" reading means that the stick you sold me
has a CAS 3 rating rather than the CAS 2 you represented on your website.
In order to test the accuracy of Sisoft Sandra's functionality, Sisoft
Sandra reported the following for my 64MB Mushkin Samsung Original stick:
"Samsung KMM3 66S 823CTS-GH 20676000 64MB 8x(8Mx8) SDRAM PC100-222-622 (CL3
upto 100MHz) (CL2 upto 100MHz)", which is correct."

This email went out on January 28, 2001. I have not received a reponse from Primier Systems at of this posting.

Strange, I swear I saw the same picture that this site has for ram at Verasoft.com Interesting, I wonder who stole it from where.

Anyways, i'd take Verasoft's $96 256mb Micron CAS 2 over this place. I ordered from Verasoft before, and they deliver on it. Shipping, arm and a leg, but its a good price for some CAS 2 Micron.

brtspears2, where does it say that Micron memory is Cas 2, I looked at that site and it doesn't say, and the link to the Micron site says "data sheet for product not found" and I did a search for the part number on the Micron site and it could not be located. I would rather get it in 1 256mb than 2 128mb.

I have purchased cas2 PC133 from Premier Systems several times. Shipping was OK and the dimms are fine.

Did you read the user reviews. Most seemed fine to me. A few complianed about getting their ram a couple of days late but I don't see much else to complain about. Seems only one or 2 were disappointed with the performance.

I bought 512mb from these guys.
excellent RAM. excellent. the rest of my friends have now bought RAM from them.
it runs CAS2 no problem, and i've got it to 145MHz CAS2 (my processor ran out, not the RAM).
the spd says cas3, but it si fine at cas2.
on my abit ka7, all the RAM settings are tweaked, and it works like a dream. if you want cheap, high-quality memory, buy it from here.

I picked up a toshiba 256 from verasoft. they said it would run cas2 at 133, and i'm not overclocking-just looking for fast ram.

why did I blow the money? cuz I'm running two 128's of pc100 on a 133fsb for my 800eb. the sticks are tired and old.. and need to go back to 100mhz or less

Looks to me like this is the CAS 3 and ANAND was referring to their CAS 2 (the price difference).

I'd say go for the Ram that ANAND shows (CAS2) for the price difference.

Thanks for the post! Like the way these Ram prices keeps on a fallin!!!!

this is from a previous post i replied to about this company...
---
Maybe someone else have had a better experience with them than me but when i ordered this stick of memory from this company 2 months ago back when it was around 86 which was a very good deal at the time, i had the worst experience with them. They state same day shipping on orders before 5. I did not recieve my package for 6 or 7 days. When it arrived, my motherboard would give it a ram cheksum error on bootup at pc133 cas2. It would boot to windows but would be terribily unstable. I played with the lowest settings for my bios but still no luck. So i set it back to cas3... still the same results... i set it to pc100 cas3 and finally no error. I call tech support, they state that the internal spd timings should automatically set the speed of the ram chip regardless of what its set at in the bios... say what? So the technician cant help me so he tells me to email my situation to their service department... guess what... email bounces back 6 days later... and all this time i thought they were just ignoring me. Anyways, so i rma the piece of junk and send it back to them priority mail with my OWN money and they dont process my refund for over 2 weeks. After repeated emails and a phone call, the refund still does not process. Only after i start threatening with action with my credit card company and making my horror story known with the various forum boards do they process the refund and reply back and give me the usual apologetic spiel and for me to not dirty their good name... hmm so anyways.....

[edit]

and to add... i wouldnt be surprised if they trolled here cuz when i last conversed they were well aware of hot deal type forum boards as i told them i'd soil their name if they didnt provide action for my situation. also who ever said they'd pay for return shipping on defective products are full of s***

I have 2 128meg sticks of their RAM and no complaints, running cas2 at 133 on a KT7. The chips are LD which I still know very little about, but whoever they are the RAM is good. Especially at that price with free shipping.
