I saw an Exxon today - $3.42 for regular. So I drove on about 5 more miles, found a Shell for $2.41. I hope whoever put up the numbers was just clinically retarded.

I average ~38MPG right now. These increases don't KILL me, but they still eat away at my crappy college student budget.

I have a crappy student budget too.

Say if you average 1500 miles each month - with an average of 30mpg - you're buying about 50 gallons of fuel each month. At $2.50 a gallon - around $125 a month in fuel expenses. If fuel jumps to 3 bucks - you're looking at $150. A whole 25 bucks - big deal.

wed morning it was 2.58
wed night when i got off work it was 2.67.

this is the gas station i fill up at every other day. this is insane.
