prescription drugs via internet ?

Would you purchase prescription drugs over the internet? I mean, how do they check that you actually have a prescription of a certain pill ? Are they usually cheaper after shipping costs, etc.?

I know serveral ppl who get their scripts from Dr's on-line. They like it.

I would not endorse doing something illegal though. I might be mistaken, but I thought that was a federal crime if you try and fill a fake script.

You are allowed to bring in a month's supply of prescription drugs as long as they are not scheduled drugs or narcotics. So you can get Viagra if you want........

I have a prescription, but was wondering how they can even check it. I mean, it says refill 3 times... but theoretically, I can refill as many as I want if they don't actually check. Just wondering about their online practices - not that it will affect me either way.

They could call your doctor and ask, just like the contact lense places do

Usually a script is mailed, faxed or scanned, and they can call the doctor's office to verify if they want to.
Trying to scam a script would be pretty stoopid.

I have a lot of experience in this, and unless you are dealing with an unethical domestic firm or a place overseas, a fax of the prescription and a follow up call to your doctor will be required.

Buying prescriptions online can be cheaper sometimes if you buy your three month supply at one time. You may have a three month supply if your script is for 1 month and can be refilled three times.

Yes they check to see what the prescription is for because they can face severe federal fines, prison time, or loss of their license if they knowlingly dispense Scheduled Narcotics to someone without a prescription.
