Quite frightening really.My daughter was on a massive one month pulse of dex to start her leukemia chemo, and then one week pulses every month. For 24 months (just about, it wasn't in every phase).
Dex was the worst. We dreaded steroid week. It turned her into the antichrist. She's on the ASD spectrum so she already had issues with flexibility and impulse control (especially considering she was three at the time); dex turned that to 11. She was ravenously hungry. And withdrawals were awful too, it took days to come down after her last dose.
That shit is insidious.
