He sounded worse on his Hannity call in than his recorded messages. And in his case we know it isn't a cold rather COVID pneumonia and he's being propped up on high dose steroids. This is a sick man trying very hard to present the appearance of a healthy one.

Many posters in P&N noted Pence's pink eye during the debate 2 days ago. I could not see it because I never do see that stuff 'cause I'm color blind. Covid-19 can cause pink eye, can actually enter your body through your eyes, that's why eye-pro is a thing if you're in certain situations.There are a lot of administration that could have tested positive but they are listening to Trump and keeping it quiet. It must be extremely frustrating for Donald Trump when an administration member refuses to keep quiet. Especially going forward when Donald Trump now begins his new Covid phase of once again denial and pressing the Covid as nothing to worry about.
You know, what is so Donald Trump here is when Donald Trump actually believes simply returning people back to work will fix everything. Trump actually believes if people just returned to work and all the schools reopened and all the people forgot about masks and returned back into the restaurant’s and business that the economy would rebound to where it was before the pandemic. Donald Trump fundamentally does not understand our economy and has indeed been benefiting off the Biden Obama economy all these past years.
But really, does anyone believe that Bill Barr would admit if he were Covid? Or that Mike Pence would admit and announce? I suspect that both Barr and Pence have tested positive and have been keeping it quiet per orders from Donald Trump. If it were known that Barr or Pence were Covid, that would be a real game changer. And possibly the end of the Trump administration. We would never know if Mike Pence was Covid, the risks to the administration would be far too great. Trump could order it hidden from the American public if for nothing else, national security reasons. And, considering Mike Pence age and fitness I doubt that Pence would have much problem with harboring Covid. Pence could campaign, debate, go about his merry way and no one would be the wiser. Not showing symptoms, while exposing others, all on orders from Donald Trump. If I were Kamala Harris I would definitely debate Mike Pence but only with protections in place, and no one would fault Harris for that. That is, not to fault Harris with any credibility.
