Oddly similar to what happened with Boris Johnson. That escalated farily rapidly - first he was doing well isolating and 'working from home', then he was in hospital 'as a precautionary measure', then he was given supplemental oxygen 'but not on a ventilator' then he was moved into intensive care. But he did recover with no obvious after-effects other than some probably overdue weight-loss. It also seemed as if he learned something from the experience, and seemed to take the virus more seriously afterwards. (I'm not fully convinced Trump is capable of learning from experience).

What I am saying if my Father got an ambulance ride to the hospital for Covid, I would assume they would provide O2, same with the ER I would assume a 70+ year old man would immediately get O2 provided there is a Covid positive and he’s at the hospital for whatever reason.

Johnson didn't go to the hospital until 9 days after he first became symptomatic. Depending on which timeline you adhere to, Trump was sent either within 12 hours or perhaps up to about 2 days after diagnosis.
Yeah, as I remember it he started off just isolating (in Number Ten) and working via video links etc. At some point he moved into hospital. Sounds as if either Trump was in a worse condition or they are super cautious when it comes to Presidents (probably considered harder to replace than Prime Ministers, who are essentially supposed to be just 'first among equals' among all the other ministers).
Main thing that reminded me was the discussion about 'oxygen' - there was some confusion, IIRC, about the distinction between 'supplemental oxygen' and being on a ventilator.
