Thread over. If only people like Cad and Spidey would suddenly have one of those hollywood epiphanies and realize they wasted their whole life being a miserable paranoid psuedoracist.

lol, because if you don't like obama you're a racist.

I still have big problems with the way the lesson plan read and that it was so bad to begin with they had to change it. That was the problem all along and it's still pretty creepy.

And I couldn't be happier or more successful in every way with my life. I absolutely love it.

Dont mix up the speech and the lesson plan afterward, spidey. The lesson plan is the child of department of education, not Obama.

And one would have to be naive to think that behind the scenes it was only the NEA. Now before the leftist twits get all pissy - no I doubt BHO himself was personally involved but it certainly wasn't only the NEA.

Whats the NEA have to do with it?

Would you like to borrow my tin foil hat?

Interesting is that his home state of Illinois banned students from watching the speech.

By the way anyone that hates the speech, hates America and should be escorted out of here immediately.

Fair enough...I know you like chastising the right whenever you can, and this is a good time I suppose. Have fun

Well there are plenty of quotes from the time. By all means go find me a corresponding quote from a major Democratic Party official that is in any way similar to the chair of the Republican party in Florida when he said:

President Obama has turned to American?s children to spread his liberal lies, indoctrinating American?s youngest children before they have a chance to decide for themselves [through an invasive abuse of power]

If you can find similar statements from Democratic Party officials, then I'll agree with you. (and even that's being nice, as you know as well as I do the sheer volume of crazy here from the right.) If you can't, then you should admit as much.

Maybe we should have investigative hearings like the Democrats did? Oh wait. I forgot. It wasnt a big deal back then.

that baby-eating marxist-fascist-pacifist-SOCIALIST-sadomasochist-communist-acupuncturist-exhibitionist-motorcyclist nazi pig!!

He clearly hates children and America. If I had a kid in school, there is no way I would want them being indoctrinated with that kind of garbage!

What are you people bashing about? He made a speech addressing education and how you can better yourself. What is so wrong with that?

And sure, you can try to claim it's going to be harmless, but it still doesn't make it right for him to do - especially when it looks to be self-serving and/or political. They got caught and now have changed things it seems... yep...nothing to see here... :bluepillsmiley;

How does it look self-serving or political?

Have you read the lesson plans from the department of education? That's the problem, not the message. It's disgusting just how bad they are to make Obama out to be something more than just the president. It's downright creepy.

Them's just the voices in your head spidey. Do they ever tell you useful things like "Get a life"?

And our voices worked. He changed the speech and the lesson plans were changed. He knows the American people are pushing against his every move. Patriots all.

I'm changing your lesson plan. Instead of reading these forums, watching the news, reading a blog, or having any contact with the internet or media, today you will sit outside and watch the grass grow.

GO!

The voices in my head worked. He didn't changed the speech and the lesson plans were not changed. He knows the lunatic fringe are pushing against his every move and he ignored them. Wingnuts all.

Your link just proves my point. Nowhere in it do the Democrats come anywhere even in the same ballpark of crazy.

Ok, I don't know what you'd call it then ....

Newt coming out in favor of it as soon as the real text is released is him trying to not be associated with the rest of the crazies.

Oh you mean like being sceptical before seeing proof, but then deciding its fine afterwards? Like that?

Im sure you never do such things do you. You prefer to make snap judgements without seeing evidence. Right on Nevertheless, your statement was wrong.

If you think someone complaining about a speech by saying 'we shouldn't be spending government money for the president to push his agenda' is the same thing as saying 'the president is 'indoctrinating our children with his liberal [socialist] lies through an invasive abuse of power', I can't help you. There should be no confusion.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. I'll stand by my point. You can continue drawing comparisons between this and a policy speech though ....

Awww, aren't you cute. In case you're wondering, I'm still flattered that when people say something bad about me you care enough to chime in and agree. And here for a while I was starting to wonder if you cared!

I do care and do like you...you're intelligent and well meaning. But you are what you are...just saying.
