And if the Republicans DID re-elect a "druggie," maybe they were just trying to keep up with the Jonesers.

Erm, I meant the Democrats.

"IF" they elected a druggie?

You're so delusional you won't accept a confession right from the druggies mouth.

What a bunch of hypocrites. Just IMAGINE what you'd be saying if a Democratic president admitted ON TAPE that he abused alcohol, pot, and COCAINE.

Yet when it's your own druggie you defend him. You people are pathetic.
Ah, such absolute cluelessness from BBond. I see you believe Bush is my own druggie, when I've stated for a fact I don't care for him and didn't vote for him.

I hope they call you for a PIPA study real soon.

Your ridiculous non-partisan charade is clearly exposed in each of your posts.

You're as transparent as your president.

Oh and if you live in Illinois like you state in your profile G.W.Bush is your President. Deal with it!

CsG

what does this have to do with proof that GWB was a druggie?

Besides the fact that it's a REPOST?

CsG
i was refering to the "Oh and if you live in Illinois like you state in your profile G.W.Bush is your President. Deal with it!" part.

I was commenting on his sig - deal with it. I just think it's hilarious that people like him think Bush isn't their President. whatever feeds the rabid leftist's hate I guess.

Oh, did I mention that this thread is a repost?

CsG

almost every reply you make is a repost - I think you should try using the word "rabid" less. it's like listening to a broken record.

Caring about drug use is so 1990s Clinton bashing style. This is a totally different century.

Also seen on FOX News chicago....

I've had a huge feeling for the longest time that GWB has been completely false to the american public regarding who he is. This just confirms my suspicions.

Perhaps, in the limited timeframe your memory wishes to work in, you have forgotten the
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman" fiasco.

Seems Mr. Bush hasnt been the only President to be false to the American public as to who he is. In fact, I'd bet we havent had an honest President in 75 years in office. And I'll bet we dont have an honest President for another 75 years either.

I DO remember that "fiasco", however, I don't feel that two adults having consentual sex (NOT AGAINST THE LAW) was the horrible thing that the repubs made it out to be. There's NO WAY it should be even close to as bad as doing cocaine (ILLEGAL) and being an alcoholic fvckup (DUI's => ILLEGAL).

Last time I checked having an affair was illegal too. Adultury or some such.
Are we now changing the interrpretation of laws, such that some are "not bad" whereas some ar e"bad" depending on the situation?
Funny, and here all this time I thought it was fairly black and white. Break the law, your a criminal........

They've legalized drugs for the 21st Century?!

Yay. Judging by recent events we'll need them.

And George can finally come clean about all those drugs he used for all those years.

Which brings up what is, IMO, a good point. If George wants to play the religion card, let him. Forgiveness for all. George AND Jeff Gannon (or whatever his name is -- BTW, do you think Guckert used his real name or his alias when he asked God for forgiveness???)

But like George and the rest of you "Republicans" like to point out, people must be accountable for their actions. For example, people who didn't "plan" properly for their retirement or failed to "plan" to overcome poverty or didn't "plan" for their pregnancy or "plan" to not get ill.

And besides, whether or not he's "forgiven," is there anyone who actually wants an ex-druggie alcoholic wastrel running the USA?

I would argue no sane person would.

And everyone should agree based on the current ex-druggie alcoholic wastrel's results.

I guess it is time to come clean. My friend smoked pot, had premarital sex, and drove over the speed limit in the 60's and early 70's. If he ever run's for president you can use this information.

It will only matter if he's a Democrat.

I'm no Bush fan, but this is ridiculous (other than him having a hypocritical stance on drug use which is not cool imo). Smoking pot does not make you a druggy. I have plenty of friends who have completely fvcked up there lives over drugs, I know all too well what it can do, but I'm sorry smoking pot is a complete non issue imo. OMG, I bet ol Bushy boy has drank a beer or two in his life as well! The horror!

There's a HUGE difference between pot and coke. Don't you agree?

Bahahahahaahahaa the Republicans can't even admit they re-elcted a Druggie Idiot.

Bahahhahahahha the Democrats can't even admit they can't beat a druggie idiot.

Bahahahahaahahaa

The fascists can't even admit they were stupid enough to elect a druggie idiot.

Don't bogart that joint, Mr. President.

Check out Bush's statement about COCAINE USE too.

"The cocaine thing, let me tell you my strategy on that," Bush said on the tape. "Rather than saying no ? I think it's time for someone to draw the line and look people in the eye and say, you know, 'I'm not going to participate in ugly rumors about me and blame my opponent,' and hold the line. Stand up for a system that will not allow this kind of crap to go on."

When asked if past drug use was a big issue to Bush, Wead said, "He brought the subject up often."

Bush has acknowledged having a problem with alcohol in the past but has not publicly admitted any illegal drug use.

Still refusing to deny he used coke.

You people really elected yourselves a winner. An alcoholic, pothead, cokehead. A multi-drug abuser.

Is there nothing this doper can do that you people won't defend?

I missed the part where he or anyone else stated that he abused pot and cocaine. Please educate me.

Let me be the first to put down $1000 and bet the moral outrage of the religious right will fail to materialize.

Well, you got it partly right. It is called Adultery. But it is not illegal. It is grounds for divorce, yes, but you cannot go to jail for it. Maybe they figure your spouse taking you to civil court for divorce and taking the kids and everything you own punishment enough?

Well, knowing that GW has admitted to being an alcoholic, it comes as no surprise that he also at least experimented if not used with some frequency some other forms of drugs. Many people who have addiction problems are cross-users. It is usually a spiritual or mental condition of the user which makes them predisposed to using substances to alter their state of conciousness. Usually people have a favorite substance but are not adverse to trying others because, "why the hell not, eh?" So it really should not come as any surprise if GW used whatever. . .The fact is he stopped. He changed his mentality and his spirituality and got over his addiction. Many 12 step programs focus on faith and belief in a higher power to help us overcome spiritual ailments which cause us to drink or abuse drugs. Most of them call that higher power God or a "God of your understanding." Given that GW used to drink, and now he doesn't, we can logically assume he probably participated or participates in one or more of these 12 step programs because they have been shown to work well. Given that this is how these programs work, it is little wonder why our commander in chief is such a religious nut! Good for George! He went to AA, found God, and got over his drinking / drugging problem! Now he is applying his new found faith to govern America! So much for separation of church and state!
