*** President Bush's thoughts on Iraq

I've never been terribly impressed by any president's speeches, mostly they don't really say anything at all and just keep re-hashing the same old slogans and bunk over and over again. Hence I always try to turn off the TV when they come on...

Bush and company have said very little new for quite some time......

No reason? How about sanctions against Iraq which lead to a million deaths...support for Israel which has done everything Iraq is accused of (invading neigbouring countries, oppressing and killing their people, WMD) stationing troops in their holy land, etc....

And why should he? If we DO attack, I'm sure that some UN ambassadors will give some strongly worded speeches condemning the US for "not working with the International community" or some other nonsense of that nature. Will they actually DO anything about it, however? NO! The UN security council has proven itself to be spineless, and has no real authority without our military backing them up.
