President Obama 2011 State of the Union speech thread
Looks like he is going to copy Clinton's "It's the Economy stupid" speech.
I still believe the biggest issue is the one he has not said one word about since taking office. Oil. Yes he had to deal with the debacle in the Gulf but he never addressed the Market manipulation of prices.

State of the Union: It's the economy, again
Addressing a demand for economic answers, President Barack Obama will try to convince the American people and a divided Congress that he has a vision for speeding up job creation, promoting spending on the core of his agenda but promising to rein in a growing, staggering debt. His State of the Union address will reflect reality: The economy trumps all.
The recession that began before Obama took office erased 7.3 million jobs. On the rebound, the economy produced 1.1 million jobs last year, and economists think that figure will roughly double this year. Yet unemployment, now at 9.4 percent, is likely to stay high.
