Maybe if you engaged what's left of your brain some honesty might still be in there...

Antifa are not far left, they are anarchists.
How many people have BLM killed in the last 5 years?
How many people have white nationalists killed in the last 5 years?
Who does DHS and the FBI designate the #1 terrorist threat. Hint, it ain't BLM

Just a few months ago.

Try talking less out of your ass.
Not everyone fits into the neat little boxes that fuel partisan narratives.

BLM and Antifa are not organizations, they are political movements or ideologies. There have been acts of violence against police and Trump supporters, I will let you decide what political tribe those actors belong to.

Some who rally to Antifa are just anarchists.

Proud Boys are far right Trump loyalists and agitators. They draw a lot of news attention, but don’t have any meaningful numbers. Their big Portland rally fizzled last week.

Boogaloo are anti-authority 2A libertarians. They will do whatever it takes to start Civil War 2.0. They have stood with Antifa in Portland, but have also sought to undermine BLM.

Trump is bitter, because most media is against him..
I feel bad for him..

That's a strange comment of sympathy for the sentient colostomy bag currently trying to destroy American democracy. I'm sure the hundreds of thousands of American families who have lost a family member or employment because of him are right there with you in worrying about the snowflake's poor feels.

Trump is furious because he's losing and has to face justice when out of office, also has the shittiest record of any American "president." Might be time to pick a new boogeyman, or better yet, better news sources.

He's right, though. California does a lousy job of managing their forests.
just waiting to see how the debate will affect the polls.

don't think it'll be good for trump.

The Polling data that came out yesterday was alread bad for the GOP. Trump is down in GA by 3% and Biden is polling at 50%z 10 of their Senate Seats are now in play. 7 of them are being lead by the Dem candidate. 1 is a tie. 1 is within 1% and 1 is within 2.5%.

We should also note that attacks by ANTIFA members have been tied to exactly zero deaths in the last 25 years as compared to hundreds by white supremacist groups.

So if someone continuously hits you below the belt when you hit them back once both are equally bad?

I just happen to disagree with that assessment.
I think a better analogy is two combatants agree to rules while threatening to hit below the belt and taking opportunistic cheap shots that slowly undermine the entire premise. One fighter finally decides to kick down the entire facade and strike below the belt, and the other fighter cries foul because it caused him to lose the fight.

The debate reminded me of those WWF pre-fight interviews, Randy Savage was more articulate, oh yeah.

Lol ... CNN talked to a handful of "undecided" voters in Westerville OH after the debates and they all seem very very disappointed in Biden for having called Trump a clown.

Jesus christ! ... If you followed the debate and Biden calling Trump a clown is the part that disappointed you, then you are either lying about being undecided, or you are an idiot.

Anyone that had a problem with Joe Bidens comments regarding trump being a clown, worst president ever or shut up, etc were never going to vote for him. Anyone that bothsides or whatabouts last night are also clearly not undecided and were never going to vote for Biden.

Any objective person could clearly see Trump was 100% responsible for thdumpster fire. It’s funny because people say Trump tells it likes it is and 100% lies out his ass they laps that shit up. Biden actually factually 100% tells it like it is regarding Trump and he gets scorned.

Biden’s zingers were what every average objective and rational person was thinking.

Trumps strategy last night and through this campaign is to play to his racist base and try and turn off voters from the election and keep them from voting. Plain and simple.

He is playing the full court press on disenfranchisement of voters through ALL possible means. From trying to stop mail in ballots, casting the election as a fraud already, to urging his supporters to obstruct polling places, to trying to cause people to just choose not to vote.

When you have a public argument between two individuals who are using a gentlemen's agreement on rules (rather than a truly forced moderation), if one's a bad actor, the opponent has no path forward which will appease everyone viewing. If they go low as well, they get accused of 'rolling around in the mud'. If they go high, they get accused of 'getting rolled, not fighting back'. If they deftly deflect all attempts to land a punch, and quip with witticisms they get accused of 'being haughty, not taking things seriously, ignoring the real issues'. Anyone who knows this and still argues against the good-faith actor is acting in bad faith as well, probably in favor of the bad actor.

I mean he’s mad because the media won’t repeat his lies uncritically. Maybe he should stop lying, haha.

Wouldn't that be a miracle of miracles. That lying of his literally got him elected to begin with and taking keen notice of that with all the craftiness of a spoiled brat constantly looking for malicious ways to keep everyone's attention on him, Trump has stayed true to form, relying on his base for the attention and approval he was brought up to assume he rightfully deserved, of whom I'm sure he thinks are such gullible idiots that deserve to be exploited in every possible way he could think of.

Or they are a useful idiot simply doing what the bad actor wants them to do.

You didn’t read my post. Neither combatant is a good faith actor. One combatant has been a fighter for decades, and is adept and skilled at pushing the boundaries. The other fighter is Clubber Lang.

Sounds like the referee failed in his job.

Numerous articles evaluating the debate call Biden out for stooping to Trump’s level given that one of Biden’s selling points is to restore professionalism to the Presidency. I think CNN does a good job of assessing debates, and their analysis aligns with mine.

“c’mon man, idiot, clown, shut up”
I know you may find this hard to believe, but Biden isn't currently the president.

One last closing statement I would have liked to see from Biden " - something like:

“What we are seeing right now is the reason that Donald Trump is a failed president. He is incapable of listening. He did not listen to the scientists when they told him COVID would kill hundreds of thousands of Americans. He did not listen to his economic experts when they told him that ignoring the pandemic would be disastrous to American jobs. He did not listen to his foreign policy advisors when they told him that Putin is not our friend. Donald Trump is incapable of listening, incapable adult like conversations and we are seeing that on full display here tonight. A president has to listen, and Donald Trump can’t do that.”

Even better. The optics of Biden calmly saying this over Trump’s incoherent blather drives home the point.

My wife told me she clocked out watching after Trump shouted down Biden talking about his dead son Beau’s national service to slander Biden’s other son Hunter as a disgraced coke head.

Both sides.

dumpster fire aside, Trump did get in some decent punches too with ones like this:

Just highlighting that he is your typical plutocrat establishment that makes millions and stands above the working poor.

The right wing echo chamber was telling us for months how senile Biden was and how Trump was going to steamroll him. Instead Trump came off looking like a deranged child and Biden as the mentally stable adult. Not because he isn't gaffe prone, but because the moron in chief wouldn't stop interrupting for a sufficient period of time to let Biden have a natural gaffe.
