1. It's Kim Jong-il and not Kim CHUNG-il. Mispronouced his name twice. It's as bad as calling bush, bEsh.

2. " I can comment to Putin ". Hmm according to www.dictionary.com, the word "comment" is a noun. You can MAKE a comment(noun), or you can also say you commentED (verb) on something.

I know it's a bit tedious to critize his grammar mistakes. As the leader of the United States of America, HOWEVER, where English is the primary language, I'd prefer somebody who can knows his grammar, lol.

comment can also be used as a verb. scroll further down on dictionary.com

Hmm you are correct. I guess I didn't see that. It can be used as a transitive verb. IT just sounded strange to me when he used it in the phrase.

As a neutral I think Bush came across as being reliable and trustworthy, Kerry on the other hand came across as being abit slimey so I wouldn't vote for him. IMO with Bush as president there is more of a chance of victory in the war on terror, if Kerry was president we might as well surrender NOW before he DOES!

it would help if Bush was fighiting the war on terror for real (read...go after Al Queda and not set our primary focus on Iraq)

He IS going after Al Queda, you can't win a war against terrorists with planes and tanks but with special forces hunting them down.

Then why are we in Iraq?

You have to start somewhere and invading Iraq has given America a foothold in the area with easy access to the terrorist supporting countries in the area.

which is an odd thing to think considering which one acted cowardly during a time of war, and who actually charged into fire when in danger.

So why wasn't that the reason given before the war? That was never mentioned. I seem to recall something about Saddam and his WMD and an imminent threat and how any minute there could be a mushroom cloud in America. According to Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, and Rice. I could be wrong though and that was just a dream I had. A very long 3 month dream.....

"backdoor draft"??

hmmm,

Yeah, WTF is that?

the policy by which you extend a persons service in the military by keeping them oversees fighting in a war. A lot of boys would be back home right now but there stuck in Iraq because we need them over there to sustain our fight.

...and don't forget those boys who came home (and coming home) draped in flag...:brokenheart:

I seriously think that Bush can not be a leader of this country. He favors killing over diplomacy. Diplomacy is not an easy thing. But giving up diplomacy is NEVER the option.

Agreed. Giving up diplomacy is never the option. By the same token, allowing your enemy to escape when you have him cornered at the risk of American lives is just as much never the option!

What scares me is that Bush just doesn't seem to care about finding the reason behind the attacks, etc. He just wants to bomb until the problem goes away. At least that's how he seems to come across...

Edit: Ok, and at least Bush is mentioning NK now.

:frown: ...the real question now is how to end the IRAQ war without America looking like the loser or going through another vietnam-like situation...
