Hi all-
I am truly stumped about a problem that I am having with a new machine I just built. When I soft reset (through Windows, CTL-ALT-DEL, press reset on the case, etc.) the monitor goes black and the computer just hangs there, requiring me to turn it off and on again to reboot (holding the power for four secs. does shut it down). This happens every single time I reset (other than physically turning the power on and off). Any ideas? The only thing I can think of is a faulty motherboard?? I hope this is not the case though, as the board is brand new.
Thanks in advance,
Rob
