That picture is so obviously photoshopped.
That may be but they are real products I remember the commercials for them.
Thorin[/quote]

They're VERY real. Barbie & Hot Wheels, by Patriot computers IIRC. Company is defunct and there's LOTS of those silver Barbie machines out there.

CDC computers here in Winnipeg, MB, Canada bought ***hundreds*** of them and have them stocked in the warehouse, being sold at atrocious profit. Of course, it's getting harder to sell s370 machines these days...

They sanded off the flowers, repainted them.... they've been nicknamed the "Burbie".
Zero PCI slots, zero expansion. No thanks - I'd rather get a BookPC before Burbie!

Sad thing is the pic is real. I remember seeing magazine ads for them a couple years back. A normal system ran around 700-900MHz with 128-256MB RAM and these were Celeron 300s with 32MB of RAM and intel graphics, while they were marketed as gaming machines for the 10 and under crowd.

Newegg doesn't seem to carry it (?!) -- they only have the larger sizes. A link from the company's website:

http://www.lian-li.com/product.php?action=viewPD&prdid=362&PHPSESSID=0278a2cc0f43906579a8d01e9bd82756

If you read the whole thread he mentions that he doesn't want Lian-Li as it is too pricey

Whoops! I see that now, although actually he didn't want it because it was too "gamey". I'm confused. A Wave Master is OK, but a Lian-Li isn't? They're the tops in my book when it comes to aluminum cases, but to each his own...

I like ths one a bit better. I built a computer using this case for someone and the glossy metallic bronze finish looks great. NewEgg carries it for $64.

I have that case, it's still not as sleek as the Sonata.

Its basically the same damn thing, but much cheaper. I've used the Sonata, its all hype, and putting a 300/350Watt Fortron 120mm P/S in this case is much quieter than the Sonata, and still cheaper...

Get a case and take it to a auto paint shop and have them make it look pretty!

Purple
Red Case

If your dads an artist he will be impressed with any creativity you can come up with to make the case look pretty, even if you have to take it to someone else to get the job done (like the paint). If your at this forum then you should already know how to make a light show out of the inside of the case.

Just in case you don't check out

DFI nForce 2 Lanparty Motherboard
It will come with all the cables you need
Cold Cathodes 8" sticks, fans, and more
or 3 led setup of R G B hooked up to the front so you can make any color you want!
both are cheap but impressive

Thank god somebody has some sense in this thread. Gamey? WTF is that?! The Coolermaster sure is "trendy", but I guarantee that I'll still be loving my Lian Li long after you folks have gotten rid of that Coolermaster.

When I see a Lian-Li I think of all the Lan parties I've been to and how everybody that has a Lian-Li thinks they're the sh!t. If you ask me Lian-LI is something you have to show off when you "GAME."
