Preventing OLED Screen Burn-In

If 112w average power consumption or lower for DVD and 2K BD playback in a dimly light room really is true, then Sony's top OLED is the one for me.

I do no gaming, nor will this TV be connected to the Internet. Sources will be the BD drive in my PC and a standalone BD player. While playing a DVD or BD, when I hit pause and the screensaver from JRiver or from my Pioneer BD player comes on, will that protect the TV against burn-in?

Yes, if it's a good screensaver. On my LG OLED, when pausing videos running through WebOS, LG's own screensaver gets activated after a minute or two. It's just a black screen with tiny colorful particles doing sort of a random fireworks thingy on different parts of the screen.

Most important thing with OLED is to leave it in power saving mode after you are done using it. In that mode, it will refresh its pixels based on the manufacturer's set schedule. On my Samsung OLED monitor, it warns me that "optimization is not complete" if I haven't left it in power down mode and turned it off instantly after using it. If you have sensitive hearing, you will actually hear whirring noises coming from the OLED in power saving mode on some days or after watching it for several hours in a single day. That's normal and means it is scrubbing the pixels.

The A95L is not OLED, it's a QD-Oled, which is a relatively new tech. I got one last year, and it's outstanding. There is no need to add a screen saver, as the TV has features for burn in. Unless you plan to leave it on for hours on a channel that has a crawler like CNN, no worries. Mine will be a year old next month, and my only complaint is that Sony still hasn't added picture in picture. It is by far the best tv I've ever owned.

Such great news, plus that 112w average power consumption that Rtings.com measured vs. that 444 w Sony spec. No doubt, with my typically sub 4K source content and as my below average room lighting will allow me to dial down the A95L's brightness, power draw should be even less.

True or False: Are there speaker level inputs where I could drive the internal speakers with a stereo power amp, fed by a JRiver decoded Dolby Digital (DVD) or DTS-MA (BD) (mono) center channel feed from a DAC like this?

That is, I'd like to use the TV's internal speakers as the center channel with my pair of front speakers to build a 3.3 system.

I'm not sure as I haven't tried it. I did try it when I had everything setup. However Sony used the old pen connectors where you have to push the connector and then insert the wire or pin. I use banana plugs on my speaker wire, and was not going to Walmart.
