Why did they not use 2 7900GTX's in the SLi benchmark (even though it wouldnt be benched against ATi). It's just a demo, dont get your undies in a bunch. I'm not discrediting the ATi card, I just want to see real world benches, not benches with left out variables, left out top end cards, etc. Give them an EVGA 7900GTX Signature, or a 7950GTX.
there are so many variables about this, that it's not even worth visiting.

It would hardly be possible for it to deteriorate much further so it had no place to go but up...The point is to show that ATI's OpenGL performance has improved dramatically

I'll take as a pathetic way to make an agreement.
Stop trying to ignite things Gstandfor, we're soley interested in the new improvments here and it is always good to see companies improving their products, green or red.

That's quite an interesting theory given 6.5 pre-dates Prey.Personally I suspect Humus has been at the old shader replacement thing again
I can understand requesting SLI benchmarks but why are we asking to bench single pre-overclocked nVidia cards against stock ATi cards?Give them an EVGA 7900GTX Signature,

This would therefore be unlike Tomb Raider (and many other harped TWIMTBP titles) where nVidia has to rush emergency beta drivers because they can't even meet basic rendering requirements like a stutter-free experience for user.
Quite the opposite actually - in the example of Oblivion ATi never got their hands on it until they purchased it retail off the shelves, yet their drivers ran the game well straight out of the gate.Well, the theory is based arount the supposition thai ATi has a dev-rel department and they get to see games prior to release
I'm still waiting for evidence from to prove this.(yes, I know, the real evidence that ATi has a dev-rel department is the HL2 shaders they wrote for valve
