mmm, the game was honestly not that great as it was made out to be.

Well definitely not worth its launch price, id say its a hard choice at 24 dollars, but most likely a OK buy at 19.99 or under....

To be honest, it can very well be 19.99 dollars as well.
I used the currency converter to convert to dollars but i have no idea what the steam price is for prey in the US.

Prey in the US is currently $19.99 but in my opinion it's not even worth $20. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly good either. My buddy loved it and Steam shared it to me so I could try it and I had to force myself to finish the game.

I prefer the original Prey.

Great game, similar to System Shock, I enjoyed it a lot and well worth $50-$60

Played the game at launch, havent picked it back up since. If I remember correctly its just bioshock without the underwater BS. Not a fan of either game, though id pick this up for under $5 just to have it in my library.

Well, at the beginning i set it at easy for a while but after that back to level normal.
With the keybindings sorted out , i can only say it is an amazing game.
Huge in everyway and fun. Great looking. Puzzles here and there , running, stealthty sneaking, fighting.

I do wish i could set the texture quality higher but that really taxes my system and causes fps drops that i notice.
Everything else is at high, 16x, 2xTSMAA.
I changed the texture quality between medium and high.
And high it looks so much better. :drool:
No more jagged edges. And there is even a very high setting.
But at medium cpu activity is 60% to 70% and at high 80% and higher. Spikes to 100%.
And that is in a large hall with a few typhon and humans in it.
While my gpu activity is at jumping up and down between 9% and 100% or lower at 60Hz fps with vsync on.

I will have to wait until i have my new ryzen system before i can dial up all image quality.

What a game. I have a sad i have to work tomorrow. And i also need a shave.

I picked it up about 6 months ago from Dell for $20. Played it a couple of months ago thought it was quite good. Could use a bit of balancing and a few tweaks but overall I think it was one of the better written games.

The game actually gets fairly easy after a certain point. But it is a great game, wish there were more like it on the market, buts its all fortnite and pubg types nowadays its seems.

I finished the game. I did not go through all of the alternative endings. That way, i still have a reason to play the game when i have my new system.
Then i can turn up all the eye candy. My cpu has a tough time in some of the areas.

I had not fisnished all of the optional objectives.
To be honest, i used a walkthrough for some of the optional objectives.
And i did not finish all the optional objectives, i still have something to do.
But overal i had 40 hours of fun while playing the game.

Apparently Prey got an update. This years E3, they announced the addition of a survival mode and a new game plus mode, along with a DLC called Mooncrash. All are out now, but I haven't tried any of them.

Didn't see the DLC for this game, they didn't announce it? I might pick it up later this summer, the game is brilliant.

It's 19.99 for the Mooncrash DLC. I haven't tried it, but it doesn't sound like it continues the story much at all.
