Great fan that is extremely quiet and this has the actual 3 pin hookup instead of the 2 pin you have to trim at other web stores.

Great find! Do you know what shipping is like?

I personaly prefer the Medium flow model (can't remember its exact part number) and run it at 7V or using some kind of rheostat/fan control device, that way I have the option of getting more airflow at the expense or more noise, however I have used a few of the low airflow ones too.

I don't know much about fans, but I have a question. What are all those extra options for? Like sleve wiring, heatshrink, and sleeving?

I tried shipping cost for 1 and 3 of them and cheapest is $5.95 (airborne ground). Steep if you want just one!

It puts a finishing touch to the fan wires. A wire mesh is put on and heatshrink goes on the ends. Makes it look pretty darn cool IMHO.

Find?!
It's just copy-pasting in from the mailing list announcement. Still, credit is due the OP for passing along some good deals.

Because, by the time I get off work, it will take me about an hour to pick it up due to traffic. And that hour could be better spent working, in which I would make much more than that $5 shipping.

What is sleeve wiring? If I don't get it, does that mean it doesn't come with the wires?

Nice prices on the SLK's as well --> SLK800A is $27.49.

If they're this low already, I guess I can wait a bit longer for lower prices

Papaschtroumpf, you are thinking of the H1A model....I use them too, and love 'em!

That price for sleeving is great! I can think of many places where you'd pay more than that just for the supplies, never mind the time and effort to do the mod!

He could me talking about the M1A too they make L1A M1A and H1A...

My personal preference is the H1A wired to have a switch to select 7 or 12 volts that way on 7 volts its about the same noise level and about the same cfm as the L1A and on 12 volts its full blast baby

So does "3 pin" mean that this doesn't come with bare wires? I couldn't tell from the picture.

OK people, just to get it straight. "Sleeving" means that the cables are covered by an EMI resistant mesh (mesh being the most common form). This is not absolutely necessary and you will still get the connecting wires.

It is a 3-pin connector without RPM monitoring, BTW. Most Panaflo's cant monitor speed.

Hope this helps...

I think this is just the regular plastic sleeving to make it look good, as to match your entire power supply if it is sleeved, or just for plain looking good.

This is definitely HOT. I wish I'd seen this a couple of weeks ago before I bought 10 25cfm/22dba NMB fans . In all seriousness, buy 10! If you don't own/need/plan to use a rheobus, then these are THE way to go!
