Finally! First the Radeon LE, and now this-it was about time that decent video cards didn't cost as much as a whole computer.

The eVGA is a decent card. Don't go for the MX200 though unless you like slideshows. Get the regular MX or the MX400.

I just got an Nvidia from Egghead not too long ago for $79 shipped... This is a good deal, but does it come with heat sink? Mine had a headsink and an onboard fan... I remember my old VoodooII generated a lot of heat...I can only imagine what one of these babies can do without heat dispersion...

This is the regular geforce 2 MX, from the specs it seems.

mx 200 is the lowest spec
mx is the middle guy
mx 400 is the highest spec

Don't get mx200 if I were you.

I think the MX200 only has a 64bit wide path. The Regular and 400 mx has a 128bit path. Definitely get either the regular or 400 series.

The MX400 is speced higher than the old MX but there is basically no difference in speed. It's not the core that's holding back the MX chipset but the memory speed, so the MX400's higher core does nothing (maybe 1 or 2 fps in some games). The extra 32 megs of ram also don't seem to do much since the MX runs too slow at resolutions that would need the extra 32 megs to make much of a difference.
