Edit: Apparently, a very obvious pricemistake. FW has multiple claims that CSR at Staples have realised that this is a price mistake. Hence mostly move on.

My bad. seems like an instore ad.

I look at the loading status of that particular ad and notice that it seems that the address that actually serve up this page http://www.compusa.com/adproducts/html_ad/default2.asp

is from a 127.0.0.1 IP address. Does that seem fishy?

The only way you're going to get in on this deal is if the CompUSA manager hasn't checked his memo box and doesn't care that he's selling this unit way below cost. Also, this ad is not a public ad. It is not linked anywhere on the CompUSA main page (or any page). Some FW'ers think it's just a lazy web programmer who forgot to delete the page after he was done with the real one /default.asp. Again, huge YMMV. I'll be impressed if half a dozen people get in on this deal (but being the lemming that I am, I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens).

On the other hand.. this is already dead. Read the FW thread. It is interesting reading, and veries from squabbling to a very deep intellectual analyzation of the ethics of Deal Grabbers, but I stray.... point is, this is toast, as it is clearly a price mistake, and the CompUSA managers already know this. Also, Staples won't PM it, as many have tried apparently. Getting them to PM this is like winning the lotto.
