I picked up a set today also. I am thinking that they did label the memory correctly, but the mislabeled the price. Here is a PDF from Corsair:
http://www.corsair.com/corsair/products/specs/CM2X1024-6400PRO.pdf
The description from the PDF file said it is one 1 GB stick of DDR2 800MHz memorry. Best Buy listed it as a 2-pack. So I'm thinking I'll be getting two 1GB sticks of DDR2 800MHz memory from best buy. They say this stick is also matched in parts of "Twin2x" modules tested as a set in a dual channel DDR2 motherboard.
Do I make sense?
It also says in the description 2GB (pair of 1GB DIMM)
I'll be surprised if this works out for any of us.
The description for the item is correct and everything so I don't see why they wouldn't honor it. Isn't that false advertising? Basically we can't trust any of the prices on their site until we see the bill? That would seem like deceptive means of getting more traffic to their site using other search engines. If you look them up in froogle they show up.
Yeah, that would be pretty sketchy. I am still reading it as a 2 pack though, so maybe we will get 2 individually packaged memory sticks...
