So now Amazon lets you try clothes at home before purchasing them. This just seems ripe for abuse and I don't see how it's better than offering free returns on clothes.
I guess it makes sense considering retail stores are going the way of the dodo, but yeah, it just feels wrong.
Stuff like this is why we need teleportation - select the clothes you want and they instantly appear. I'd rather spend 15 minutes driving to a store to try clothes on than waiting 1-2 days for them to arrive, then if I don't like them, wait another 2-3 days to get more.
It's not that different from their existing return policy, this is just a way for them to market it and streamline it. That way they can push their own brands and compete against the other clothing box subscription services as well as traditional retail.
