I'm getting this msg:

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

and this one:

FATAL ERROR: Resulting sum was 512366299258014.5, expected: 512366298078364.7
Hardware failure detected,

what could this be ?

well, up the voltage, and make sure your ldt is set at 4x. run memtest and make sure the memory isnt overclocked too much.

no doubt 2750 is too much for ur cpu at 1.55v. If you still are not stable at 1.6v, you should back your oc down a little.

Is your memory stable @ 250mhz? 1:1??

have you ran memtest 86 to prove that?

What Vdimm voltage? It might not be able to handle 250 @ 1T.

What is your LDT Xplier at?

Don't go above 1000mhz.. YOu can go as low as 400 with almost ZERO performance hit..

so 4x250 or 3x250 if needed..

Bump your voltage to 1.6v and see where you can go from there..

I personally would put a memory divider in place ( DRAM menu ) 133 / so your ram is out of the picture and you can maximize your CPU.. THen bring your memory into the picture!

Good LucK!

keep us posted.

Your system (Cpu or Ram) is not stable at all.

vdimm volts are 285v
LDT xplier@ 4x
cpu volts @1.60-1.62 fluctuate but the longer prime runs then it stays @1.62 but the heat goes to 58-59C
I will try the memory divider now, already ordered a xp-90 with a high speed delta fan should be here in a few days

thanks

UPDATE:
While not overclocked everything runs fine.
also @load max temp was 48C@2612 (default speed for fx-55).
My overclocking obviously is not good, maybe someone can help me here a bit more.
while overclocked max temp @load was 59C only @2750mhz.

Have you read the A64 OCing guide at the top of the page? It will guide you through finding your max OC. Basically, you need to first find your board max, then your CPU max, then the memory. Trying to do it all at once just makes too many variables and will end up not getting as good an OC.

The higher the CPU, the less chance of a good overclock since the headroom is not there since it is already clocked very high.

I could get a 600 MHz o/c off of my 3200+ Winnie with 1.575 v. I can't even get 400 out of my 3800+ Venice with 1.65 v.

should i face the fan blowing air into the heatsink or to the outside of the system ?
