Prime95 Hates me and my FX55

OK, since you keep bumping I'll take a stab at it again. I'm guessing you've gotten your XP90, right? Have you tried lowering the voltage a bit? Too much voltage causes instability as well. I'd try 3GHz@1.5 or so. If that doesnt work then try feeding it 1.6v.

Thanks Furen...I think after this I'll just let it die. Yes I got the XP90 but haven't gotten it on yet. However, when I set my voltage to 1.55 (which is the highest setting I have) in the bios, CPUZ reports it as actually being 1.57-1.58. Is that an issue?

That, and with a multi of 13, I can't get my FSB past 222. Even with a multi of 12 I can't get it higher than that. Something is amiss, I think.

Why haven't you tried the 14x multiplier like I suggested at 205-210 ?

Tried it today, and now I'm stable at 208x14, which is an improvement I also added the xp90 cooler, which I think may have helped, and updated my bios to 1006. That doesn't explain why I can't get a FSB past 220ish. I'll stop complaining, thanks everyone for your help.
