Prime95 on Core 2 Duo ...2 Instances??

I dunno what I'm doing wrong, but I just can't get the Core 2 Duo to run 100%. I owned a P4 HT before this and I ran it exactly the same with the second instance with command "-a1".

I still get 50% no matter what I do, whether in the options>Affinity or using the run command.

I currently have my E6400 Overclocked from 2.13 tro 3.2 Ghz on a Asus P5B Vanilla. Is one of the cores failing which is why it's causing the 50%?? I'm not getting any errors from either Prime instances though.

Copy it into a second folder. Run one from each folder. Should sort it.

Use Johny Lee's SP2004. Run two instances of this.

You need two folders with one copy of the program per folder. Also when dual priming you need to set it to small FFT's because the large FFT's or blend mode uses a lot of RAM and I've found that with both trying to do blend the one takes all the ram and the second has nothing or vise versa and you end up with only partial CPU total CPU usage.

ah ha!! There we go, thanks for the tips! yeah small FFTs is the way to go..

Now to get stability hmm.. it failed.

Orthos is so much easier to setup and run. I wish Folding@Home would make something like Orthos.

In case you didn't know (not you, Baked), Orthos is just SP2004, but built for dual-cores, or true dual processors. And SP2004 is just Prime95, but with an easier to use interface.
