Well, I guess my $2300 total was not wasted on the 2 cards. My fastest time for a GTX1080 is around 11 min.
And in my other computer, the 1070ti is at around 7 min. ?

Windows or linux ? Question for each, linux is a lot fasterCheck to make sure that GTX 1080 isn't overheating, and that it isn't configured for a really low power limit or something like that. 11 Minutes for a 1080 is pretty slow. My GTX 1060 is averaging around 11 minutes, and the 1080 should be a LOT faster.

Yea, Lean has a problen with his 1080TI then... I have no advice ATMWindows 10 for me.
Same.Windows 10 for me.

Same.
The computer with the 1080 also has a gtx980 in it, so i guess x8, x8.
The computer with the 1070ti is by itself, so i guess x16. Can it lose
that much at x8,x8
I wouldn't think so. I have a computer with four Quadro K2200 cards, with two on x16 slots, one on x8, and one on x4, and they all have virtually identical run times during this challenge. Granted, they are slow cards, but they definitely do show noticeable differences in run times on projects where PCIe bandwidth really matters..Same.

It's still worth checking for a heatsink full of dust, and easy things like that. My Quadro P4000 apparently got attacked by a ghost cat and was averaging around 17 minutes per task and throttling horribly. I opened it up and evicted the "coat" of cat fur and dust from the heat sink and now it's averaging around 9 minutes per task, about 15C cooler, and about double the clock speed because it isn't throttling any more. Thanks Guys, iam not going to sweat it to much, there old cards now.
So far, so good.I don't worry to much about it as long as the TeAm wins
I heard that the client is doing that if it finds GPUs with very different performance (or/and different features?) attached to the host. This particular behavior can be disabled by means of <cc_config><options><use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus></options></cc_config>. Changing this requires client restart. (doc)I have 3x 30 series cards in one rig w/ 1080 in the rig as well. (4 cards total) and BOINC wont run on the 1080, says something about it's being ignored or something.
Yup, that would do it!Found my problem, I guess i didn't turn off F@H. Went to tray icon, Paused
it, and now the GTX 1080 is at 7 min. instead of 11-12 min. And the 980 is
at 10 min. instead of 15-16 min.

Your 5950x is faster than my lowly integrated GPU. lolFor some reason, my 2080TI decided to start working. It runs the same times as the 3070TI. about 2:20. And the 5950x's are running 47 minutes on the mega cpu units. The 7401 EPYC Naples is doing 2: hours and 15 minutes, but thats the machine the 3080TI is in, so I have to let it run. Anyway, tomorrows stats should be better for me.

my vega 11(2400g) is running 48 mins per wu. heh
I really didnt think it was that comparable.
Pump RPMs still over 2000..Touch the radiator. If it's hot, then the pump is still moving water. If it's cold, then the pump isn't moving water anymore.
It could be spinning but not moving water. Broken fins on the pump impeller, or plugged hose, maybe...Pump RPMs still over 2000..
