Anyone complete a big one yet on GPU? The only GPU one surviving for me has 14 hours left (at 76.4%), I'm curious about the credit if anyone's completed one yet.

I haven't finished a WR yet (42% finished on my 780Ti) and I don't know how many points they are worth. A LOT, I hope.:biggrin:

My 280X is at factory stock and is at 83% (52 hours).

The GTX780 (@1097Mhz) is at 75.5% (52 hours).

The GTX970 (@1420Mhz) is at 52% (52 hours).

The 4770K (@4.1) took 41 hours to do CPU WUs.

The 4790K (@4.4) took 37.6 hours to do CPU WUs and got 31,876 points.

But yeah, I've had errors and only one WR is running right now, and ironically, on my slowest machine, the old i7-920 at stock.

Now the first participans with the WR-WUs have submitted the results ... and we are dropping somewhat in the ranks.
But soon "our" WR will come ...

I had to take a computer out - errored out due to high temps (103ºC). Turned out the GPU-fans were going really slow and no matter what I did I could not get them to spin full revs ... have to change fans and to power them through the PSU directly through a Molex.
I have done that on an other computer som weeks ago, now the fans are running 100%, cool very well and are quite noisy, but that is not an issue, since the computer room is in the basement and with a door closed ...

Is MSI afterburner worth trying?

I had to underclock my 780Ti by -100 MHz to prevent errors on these WUs

I've tried that and actually had better luck with TriXX, but not consistently. I think it depends on the vendor of the card, some seem locked to the factory overclock when under load.

It is not validated yet but is added to the race stats already - you have over 1M points. The TeAm moved into sixth place for a while.

I sent my WR in four hours ago. It was worth 637,923 points

Too bad he didn't have a smaller buffer - he downloaded the WU he just finished (in 60 hours!) five hours before the start of the race

Did a fast search - chokko seems to be a young woman from Sweden - I may be wrong though.

I'll finish my first WR in 30 minutes or so (780Ti). The other 2 are on my 2 GTX980s and they are only 72% complete so maybe another 19 hours.

We are still in 6th place! Great job all! :thumbsup:
