Sometimes you can buy a new printer cheaper than you can buy ink. It's crazy. I guess the ink cartridges are where the printer companies really make their profits. HP is still running their $20 rebate link If you buy two of their cartridges plus a Turbo Tax Software product. You can usually find the Turbo Tax free or cheap.

I have an HP 932 printer. The ink cost about $30-$40. I order 3 refill online for around $70 isn't that better? If you do it right, it should be no problem. I preffer refill. Save the evironment also. I order my refill like 2 years ago. So now the price should have drop. I still have not use all of it yet.

My printer should cost around $50 by now.

I just bought 18 ink jet cartridges from megatoners.com last week for my epson 860 printer.
and got free shipping for like $45 total cost :Q The black cartridges are $1.55 each and color $2.90
(new in box, not refills)

That's a year's supply. I print color photos alot as well as black text. The cartridges that arrived
have an expiration date of May 2005 printed on the box. A year ago I did the same deal with megatoners until my
reordering last week. I keep the ink jets clog free by putting a dab of ammonia on the ink jet port
between changing cartridges (if needed) A local ink jet distributor suggested this.
Works for me.

and you print quality photos? what brand is it that you got from Megatoners? I have an Epson C40S and it prints dots all over the page

Yes I've been printing photos on glossy paper with good results. looks like the real thing (no dots)

The brand I've been using since last year from megatoners.com is OA100 (yellow box, made in China).

I have not tried the New brand color cartridge I just received. this brand is ISO9001 (green box, made in China)

I haven't used these guys yet, but found this for a good deal on remanufactured inkjet cartridges:

Definitely read their fine print, since they'll only offer a 180 day guarantee on their refilled cartridges, but their prices seem pretty good for someone like me, that's just doing the day to day printing at home.

Reseller Ratings doesn't show any feedback for them, but I checked BizRate, and they're showing a great rating!!

I also found this place on Yahoo, that had about the best price I found for remanufactured Lexmark cartridges:

No listing on either reseller ratings or bizrate, but it's a yahoo shop......so if they screw you, you should be able to get Yahoo to shut 'em down!! LOL

extracartridges.com seems to be good, they offer US made, ISO9001 chinese made and generic chinese made. I use the ISO9001 (NECTRON) brand, like $3 black and $6 color for my epson 880.

I tried to find a BC-01 cartridge for my old old Canon 10ex for a laptop printer....$25 , good news is refill kits are about $2 a pop.
