Printer Issue

Hi,
Ive tried uninstall and reinstall, still my printer HP C5280 wont print, I think its a hardware issue as it tries to grab the paper the rollers or some other internal parts give out a large continuous grinding sound? I cleaned all rollers ect so what else can I check? Its less than a year old, it cant be too hard to solve?

Is there a quick fix?

not really any quick fixes, but you could also take off the back panel where if there was a paper jam and see if there is anything inside from the back.

If its still under warranty as you indicated its less than a year old, just call up hp and usually for those models its a direct swap as there is not really anything servicable in them.

Seems its just out of warranty, min repair around here is 40.00 uk , so better to buy a new one, so surprised that a HP printer only two years old hardly used would fail so early !

So before recycling...Ive unistalled all software. Ive been running a 5meter USB cable, this might be the issue so, with a full reinstall lets see how things go. Lastly can anyone
tell me how to install my printer using Win7Ult as when I try to install I get ' The local print spooler is not running....Please restart the spooler or restart the machine. When I restart the machine same result...so how do I reset spooler settings in W7...I tried looking but drew a blank?
