Printer Problem! Help!

There is something very wrong with my printer. I try to print something, it spools to the printer fine, the printer sounds like it's about to print, and then it makes the noise like it's grabbing for paper, but it doesn't come up with anything. It tries to grab again, but nothing. And there's plenty of paper in there. I've tried taking it out, putting it back in, putting new paper in there, but nothing works. Every time, it goes through that process and then an error message comes up on the computer saying the printer is out of paper.

I opened up the top and looked, but I wouldn't know if something is wrong on the inside because I don't know what to look for. Is there anything somebody can tell me? It's an HP DeskJet 880C. Help me!

Fan the paper before you put it in the bin. Look for the rubber 'paper grabber'- it's black and cylindrical (spelling?). Make sure it is not damaged or dirty. Also, make sure your paper is proper weight (not to thick or heavy). Check for jams- although you printer should detect a jam. Make sure all cartriges are tight snd in place. Lastly, make sure you have correct drivers.

Just some things to try.

Try a use your hand to get it to take the paper. Than you know that it is a problem with those wheels.

Reinstall the drivers!
