Printing on Carbon With an Inkjet

I am trying to print on carbon paper with an inkjet printer. It is not the black single sheet but the white on yellow type of paper and it doesn't seem to be getting to the second sheet. Is it possible to print on this type of paper or is this why some types of dot matrix are still in use?

Those papers "print" to the 2nd and further sheets by releasing a chemical from tiny bubbles on impact. Obviously there is no impact with an inkjet (other than the ink droplet landing on the paper), so these don't work.
