The web siteisn't great and the turn-around time is slow (prisoners work intermitently throughout the week), but I couldn't beat the prices for engraved products.

A 4x6 inch brass engraving cost me $3.40. I bought two with different engraving and was charged $11 something total including shipping.

Not bad, if you're not in a rush.

Sounds like a good deal if you don't need it asap. I can just see getting a knock on my door ten years from now and some tattooed biker dude is standing there ready to beat me 8 ways from Sunday cause "You're the guy that made me engrave 12 Green Bay Packers beer mugs. Son, I hate the Packers."

How do you actually buy the stuff? There is NO add to cart that I can see anyway. Doesn't appear this site had any type of secure check out at all. Unless I am missing something?

You have to call the number and talk to the prisoners. They're nice because they have to be... or no waffles.

It's THE Federal Military Prison - the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks-Fort Leavenworth - a maximum security MILITARY prison, that happens to be co-located on a military base - Fort Leavenworth - home of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff School-, that happens to be in the same city as a maximum security Federal Prison - "Leavenworth" - probably where WAMU and other executives may en-up- as well as a Kansas State Prison.

Corrections is a BIG business in this city.
