Just curious.....which side of DC do you live on.....NOVA, MD, in DC proper? Just curious. I did about 3 years in Alexandria back in the early '70's. Brother is in Sterling and has lived around there for over 35 years. I visit once in a while but the frequency is getting less and less....traffic is insane and I thought it was bad back when I lived there.
I used to frequent a junk yard in Dale City back then. Area wasn't built up back then, quite "rural" (sorta) for the proximity to NOVA/DC. Now, you have to be driving past there by 5:30AM to have any hope of "beating the traffic" going north on 95.
It's incredible. My great uncle's farm was one of the parcels used to build Dulles airport. It was country even in Fairfax country when I was a kid. One of my brothers lives in Broadmoore and the other in Reston. We used to drive out on the Dulless access road when nobody was hardly using it for fun when I first learned to drive. I was mostly just civil servants which made for a high mean income, but no extremes. Since the Beltway was built and all the lobbyist moved in, it's a whole different story. Just drive down route 7 and look at all of the manses. Your tax dollars at work.MD. and yeah, traffic here is a nightmare. I thought it was bad in Chicago and in the Bay Area, CA; but those places are simply incomparable to this.

I think that road goes towards Great Falls. If you take Gales Ferry road, which is in the same area, IIRC, it terminates at Rt. 7.Is Rt 7 also Potomac? ....because the palaces on that road are just nuts.

I Googled Juggalettes and mostly what I got is a profound sense of sadness for women who become morbidly obese and still have less boob than equally obese men. I swear, some of them have more backboob than front boob.
