(Probably Simple) HTML Question

Im trying to make a personal webpage but have run into a problem. When the browser window is maximized the images move around the page but when you drag your browser window smaller the page displays correctly.

Create a table and then set those files as the backgrounds of cells.
<table>
<tr>
<td background="images/topheader.jpg">
blahlbahlhba
</td>
</tr>
</table>

This isn't the most elegant solution, but it works.

Alternatively you can make the table cell tags:

<head>
<style>.topheader {background-image: url(/images/topheader.jpg); } </style>
</head>
...
<td class="topheader">blahblhablah</td>
...

what is happening is how the DOM (document object model) flows the page when it is displayed...it flows from left to right top to bottom, the problem that you have is that when the page is larger than your images, it is just rendering them from left to right, but when it redraws when you shrink the page, the width is now smaller than the 2 images so it moves it onto the next row...

the easiest way to fix it would be to add a <br /> tag between the 2 img tags, that would make it render right, but would probably make it difficult to add actual content, I would probably start with the table ideas from above, or move to a CSS design, if you're prepared to spend some time learning CSS...

A good place to start is w3c schools click on html on the left and begin, you can alternatively click on CSS and start learning that also if you like...good luck and feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions or problems...
