Hi all,
This is probalby a few very simple questions.
I have a bunch of older, AGP based computers and I was wondering if the older video cards support widescreen.
For example, I have a Matrox QID which does 1600x1200, Matrox has a software driver that allows it to do widescreen at 1680x1080?. I was wondering what the display limit is?
Secondly, is it possible to drive larger screens such as 1900x1440?
I was thinking of getting an older quadro fx 1000 or soemthing since it claims to do 1 single display @ 3840x2400?
Any ideas or thoughts? A few quick searches did not help.
I simply don't understand why older cards can't/won't display widescreen resolutions.
Thanks.
