I think my problem is with an .aspx page although it could be something else.

I have a website from Godaddy and when I try to use their website building tool, the page doesn't load properly. I don't see any of the drop-down menus on the page. The reticent page has an .aspx extension but the "my Account" page does also and it loads correctly with all the drop down menus working.

I have disable Malwarebytes, pop-up blocker in FF, Eset anti-virus, my WIndows Firewall is disabled.

I have uninstalled FF completely, not saving any personal data, re-installed FF, updated Flash player and Java and even tried with IE 8.
WIth IE8 I get an error message on the btm right of the page saying the page loaded but with errors.

In FF it just says "loading" untill I die from old age and eventually I get an error message saying : "calling on pageload()failed: TypeError: PageDesigner.IFrame.jQuery is not a function"

I can access the page with my laptop no problems.
Godaddy says there is no problem on their end and and their Tech-support hasn't got a clue and could only suggest what I had already tried.

Anybody have any ideas about what could be causing this ?

Most likely, there's nothing wrong with the website itself and there's something wrong with your desktop. ASP is processed on the server-side so all your browsers should be seeing are standard HTML and JavaScript. The fact that it works on your laptop pretty much verified this.

Hi Nothinman

The page is WebSitetonight and it's an online web building tool/site from GoDaddy.
I used it 2 yrs ago to build a website and hadn't touched it since so it has worked for me before.

That kind of page needs something from my Windows installation that is corrupted I just haven't figure out what it could be besides the usual culprits ...flash player and Java.

Neither of which are related to .Net pages unless you design the site to require them. I don't have the answer, but if the website works on one machine and not another, the latter obviously has a problem.
