Problem with dell U2913WM digital

Hello

Just got a dell U2913wm monitor

I have a xfx 7750 card driving 3 monitors with eyefinity

i cant get the resolution to work correctly on this new monitor--

only the dvi single link cable interface will allow native res of 2560x 1080 but then the screen is all messed up--fonts and display out of focus and not usable . if i set it to 1920 x 1080 it works but that is not the res that i want.

all of the dvid d dual connector cables only can display up to 1920 x 1080

dvi to hdmi also can only get to 1920 x1080

i installed latest catylyst etc... nothing works

i also tried as single monitor--same effect.
maybe a dvi single to vga adapter will work??

on win 8 btw

I have the same monitor, I use 2 GTX 480 in SLI, W 8.1

go to basic first, 1 monitor and use the DVI-d or hdmi or DP (or please give more details of your gpu ports).

you have 3 U2913wm?

Remember to install the proper monitor driver, check if the monitor is detected properly, and check your cables.

the monitor can be pushed to 85hrz.

on the advise of dell support forum I shut down and connected only the new dell with dvi-d and it works now--connected the other 2 monitors and all are working perfectly--have not yet reboot with all 3 connected.

my other 2 monitors are a lg 23" and an acer 23"

the 29" dell is nice for adding lots of daytrading charts although I could have gotten a U2713HM 27" Wide AH-IPS with LED | 2560x1440 for only $50 more
