Currently have win xp sp2 installed and wanted to ghost my current c drive which is a 160 gb sata in order to format the hard drive and install vist 64 bit, but I wanted a backup of my current install just in case, so I used norton ghost 12 to ghost my xp install to a 200gb ide hd. No problems with the ghosting, but when I tried booting with the freshly ghosted 200gb hd, I always get a generic host for win32 has encountered an error and needs to close(I've never had this problem with the original 160 hd), this prevents me from connecting to the internet. How would I fix this problem? Is it because my new ghosted drive has a drive letter of F instead of C? Is it norton's ghost fault? Should I have used acronis true image instead? Thanks for any and all help.
