Problem with Jetway V4MDMP Socket A Motherboard

I bought 4 of these boards from an online retailer. They came bare.
I put in the following items:

first setup:

Athlon XP2600
256M DDR333 RAM
onboard video and an Nvidia 32M AGP video card
generic PS
generic hsf

turned system on and fan turned on, hd revved up and light on motherboard indicating it was getting power turned on, but no video. The monitor kept showing the 'monitor is good but no signal coming from video' message.

second setup:
Athlon 1000 chip and lowered the FS setting to 100
same everything else

turned system on and same deal

third setup:
changed PS
outcome: same thing

took everything off, and tried a one of the other V4MDMP motherboards.
went through the same cycle...same symtoms. PS fan turns on, CPU fan turns on, hd revs up and the light on the mb, but no video.

tried a Duron 1400 chip... same thing
tried another PS...same thing
tried 2 128M chips from different manufacturers...same thing
tried resetting the bios...same thing

tried a third motherboard.
Went through the same routine...same outcome
took apart one of my nice setups that's been running consistently for about a year and took out the PS and memory. put them on the Jetway board...same outcome.


I'm at the end of my rope. Very little hair left on my head. I have 1 last V4MDMP to try out but have a feeling I"ll end up with the same outcome. Is there something I"m missing? Am I doing something wrong. Have any of you out there with more experience seen this before? Are my 3 CPU's fried?

Any input would be highly welcomed.

Just a shot in the dark here... did these MBs ship with the CLEAR CMOS jumpers in the CLEAR position?

They were in normal position. Normally, motherboards that i've seen in the clear postion, don't do anything when I hook them up. I did, however, clear the CMOS by removing the battery and jumpering the 2-3 jumpers to clear the CMOS for a few minutes befor setting it to the 1-2 'normal' postion, putting the battery back in and retrying. Same result with the CPU fan coming on, hard drive revving up, FSU light/fan coming on and motherboard light coming on, but no video.

I've had the same problem with a few ECS K7S5A's, the solution was taking the clock battery out overnight. Also, after a quick look in the motherboard manual (thanks Google), it looks like you have to hook a fan up to the CPUFAN header for the system to boot. There's two headers close together so I'm not sure which one you're using, try plugging a fan in to both of them.
