I just bought a new Enlight 340W Power Supply from newegg - model EN-8341934
It stated it was AMD and P4 certified, and I'm using it to power an Abit KT7A-RAID with a 1600+ XP on it. However, when I plug it in and power up the system, the power light goes on and the power supply fan is on, but nothing at all happens with the system other than that.
The power supply has two additional connectors other than the standard ATX connector, but it says that it is ATX 2.03 compliant. It has a single AT style connector and a 4 pin "square" connector which looks like a 4 pin ATX connector that has two yellow leads and two black leads.
Would it be possible that I would need some sort of adapter to get this power supply to work? I tried just plugging in the ATX connector and I left the AT style connector and this little 4 pin connector disconnected and obviously it doesn't work. I'm hoping there is just something I need to do differently to get this to work, becuase I've been without my desktop for over a week now and if I have to RMA it to newegg it will probably be another 2 weeks before I'll get the replacement to get my desktop going
