I have a Windows 2000 Server that I use to connect users and printers to a network. I have about 20 network printers on the system. This problem only happens on about 6 of the printers. When users send a print job to the printer it will print the job but it keeps the job showing on the printer. This has caused problems when there are about 300 to 400 jobs showing for that printer in the printed state. I have to go in periodically and get rid of the jobs. I restarted the server yesterday and it started printing the jobs that have been printed. I have looked on Microsoft for a solution on how to make the jobs delete after being printed. The only thing I found was article 216221. It did not provide a solution for this that I can tell. On these printers, none of them have the box Keep printed documents checked. Could someone tell me what I need to do to fix this? I did not have this problem when I first installed the server. I am on Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 4.
