Ever since I added my new ram to my computer, my once completely stable computer is now acting up on any 3d game or app. what happened was this. I added some corsair twinx 1024 llpt (400mhz) ram to my exsiting 512 of the same ram. well now my 2500+ @ 11.5x200 does not work. I have tried bumping the vcore and still restarts or freezes. I know its the ram becuase it happened as soon as i put it in.
here is the catch... i have the memory at spd the whole time so meaning its @ 200mhz non sync,
if i put my cpu back to normal. it runs fine, but the memory didnt change did it???? if I put the mutiplyer up to 12.5 but dont change the fsb. it runs fine. (still have to do more testing to make sure though..) so what does this mean? how do i get the mutiplyer higher than 12.5 on a a7nx8 dl if i put it at 13 it changes it to 800 mhz. please help dont i void my warrnety by overclocking my cpu even though i dont touch the ram?
