I recently started having problems playing adio CDs on my PC. Inserting an audio CD will launch WIndows Media Player and it will lock hard! This can be repeated using Music Match Box or WinAmp or even Windows CD Player!
It's not the CD ROM because it does this with both my Afreey and HP burner.
Its not any of the hardware because this problem does not exist in any W2K.
Data CDs run just fine, its only audio CDs
Maybe a bad codec or something? I'm at a loss!
