I am running the system in my sig now. Recently, due to the immense power consumption of the components, I like to put the computer in sleep when I'm at work or sleeping. However, I've noticed a caveat. My computer will go into standby and resume once just fine. After the first time, if I put the computer into standby, the computer will never resume. I have to hard power off, the computer will fail to post, power off again, and then the computer starts normally.
While I am overclocked, the system is Prime95 stable for at least 10 hours, more than enough. I have put the computer back at stock, and the standby functionality returns. Is there a known issue with high clock speeds hindering standby function?
