:disgust:
I have just built my new system and through my stupid ass frineds advice decided to go for the
Abit IP35-E motherboard along with
Interl E8400 3.0Ghz chip
4gb Corsair 6400 4-4-4-12 timings
500gb Maxtor HHD
HX620watt Corsair modular PSU
coupled with a spare ATI Radeon Sapphire 3450 512mb (I will be replacing a bit later, one I get some more cash)
Everything is working fine. I have the same issue where id double boots, which should be fixed by updating the bios. However every time I leave the system switched off for more than an hour the graphics card is not detected. I get a loud ongoing beep and no boot or post. If there is no been then simply there is nothing showing on my monitor. In order to fix the problem I have to remov the graphics card and reinsert it. It is nothing to do with the graphics card itself as I have a old Nvidia 6200 pci-e and it does the same thing. If left off for more than an hour it wount recognise the graphics card untill removed and reinserted.
Has anyone had this issue and how did you managet to fix??? Help please, before I loose my patience and get a rediculously overpriced Asus Striker 2 Extreme, and waste my money
